Personality;
Mirrah's personality is shaped primarily because of her history. A mishap with her power greatly changed her view of the world and of herself. She was once a very rambunctious, happy go lucky child - but after the attack that led to the death of her parents and the separation of her family, Mirrah felt very much alone and in fear. She became very depressed, hateful, and cynical to those she would meet and always distanced herself from other lions. When she was led to the pride and mate her future mate, Kimba, she changed drastically.
Mirrah was able to see the light again and see the joy of living. She became happier, calmer, and her friendliness returned. Mirrah grew up quickly after that - she began to train her body, mind, and power. Her dedication to improve herself was unmatched by many and there was nothing she wouldn't do to prove to herself that she could overcome anything. Reuniting with her sister, Ciri, brought her joy she had not felt in so long. Mirrah was able to laugh again and she felt loved for the first time since her parent's death. She had learned patience through her time as a nomad and that reflected in her choice for a rank - cub trainer. Mirrah enjoyed spending time with cubs, anxiously awaiting having some of her own, and she desperately wanted to help those with the power over death. Mirrah has a soft spot for them and treats them with more tender love and care than she does the other students, for she knows they may need more attention to grasp their deadly abilities. Mirrah is soft spoken, calm, and always encouraging her students, cubs, and her friends to do better. She does not seem to have a bad bone in her body, shedding her former hate for a reinvented persona. Mirrah does not like to see others put down or lonely and will go out of her way to help those who she feels need a pick-me-up. Mirrah feels everyone deserves a second chance and is the more level headed one in her mate-ship with Kimba. She does not rush into decisions, always thinks things through, and prefers to talk things out rather than let anger feed at one's soul.

HIstory;
Mirrah was not originally from the Pride. She was born a nomad, the third child to her parents. Her mother, with the element of death, was a quiet and reserved soul who battled demons of her own - she did not favor her element, because it caused pain she was not strong enough to bear at times. Her father had the elements of earth and lightning, and he was strong, powerful, wise soul with a heart as sweet as honey. Her older siblings, Cirilla and Adonis, were born in a previous litter. For as long as Mirrah could remember she was raised with only her brother, Adonis. She has few memories of her sister Ciri from her childhood before she disappeared. Considering the family lived in nomad lands during the beginnings of the Civil War, it was not uncommon for families such as there to be in the midst of an attack by rebel lions. During one of the earliest attacks that Mirrah could remember, Ciri was separated from her family by the rebels and was not heard of again. Her parents were obviously distraught with the loss of their daughter and took it hard. Mirrah remembered little but since then grew ever closer to Adonis afterwards.
Mirrah had a seemingly normal childhood and she would want for nothing. Her parents taught her of the world, of the war, of the good and and bad of both the pride and the rebellion. It would be her decision to choose what path she would follow but all Mirrah wanted was to be by her parents side. She spent much time with her brother during this time and viewed him as her best friend and companion. She shared her thoughts on the war, her powers, and her abilities to communicate with the dead. All was well for her during the younger times of her life until one day that changed everything.
One day the family and their companions were caught in the middle of a small skirmish between rebellion and pride lions - for the group had wandered too far into territory not their own. A young lioness at this point, Mirrah was torn at the sight of all the lions, friends and strangers alike, being ripped away from this world. She saw her parents being hurt right in front of her eyes and her brother Adonis was no where to be found. So full of emotion and fear, Mirrah tried to run but nearly died at the hands of a Pride lion. Scared for her life, her power became an uncontrollable wave that killed all lions present that day - even her parents.
After this had happened, Mirrah digressed into a hateful, cynical, and depressed lioness. At one point in time, she had wondered why she even went on living. With her power of death, it would have been so easily to take her own life in her state of grief. However, she could not bring herself to do it - some unseen force stopped her. When one day visions of the dead danced in her head and guided her away from the nomad lands and into the pride, Mirrah did not know what to make of it. What were they telling her? The dead had always provided her with knowledge, wisdom, and advice in the past. Why were the figures guiding her towards this new life? Mirrah entered the Pride with no clue as to what would become of her. After a few rude and off-putting introductions Mirrah met him. This pride member had such a polite, kind, and considerate demeanor and that was something Mirrah had not experienced in a long time. His patience and willingness to listen provided her an outlet and a friend to share her experiences with. And it was this friend who brought her out of the brinks of death into a new light. She shared her feelings on her past and thoughts on her future - if she would choose to have one. Mirrah went into detail on her wishes for death and how she was unable to force herself to carry it out. Day after day passed and with each new dawn, the thoughts became less and less. They were replaced with a glimmer of hope and long awaited feelings of happiness and joy. Mirrah would eventually fall in love with this pride member, and Kimba in turn fell for her. He urged her to stay in the Pride and she obliged, taking up position as a cub trainer to guide young souls on their journeys.
As Mirrah found her new home in the pride, she was soon to realize she would meet familiar faces here - ones she thought were long gone. One lioness in particular gave Mirrah an odd feeling - one of familiarity and reminiscence. It was Ciri, her sister, but considering Mirrah was young at the time of her disappearance she did not recognize her. Mirrah grew close to Ciri, not realizing who she actually was. She had spoken to spirits who told her this lioness was more than she seemed and even speaking to the memories of her parents she knew Ciri was more than just a friend.
After being in the pride and becoming close to Ciri, another face appeared from her past. One she undoubtedly recognized. Adonis. Her brother had joined the pride, being a former rebellion lion, and reentered her life. Mirrah had originally thought he was killed that fatal day during the attack - but no, he was chased away. Mirrah had always wondered why, when she tried to contact the spirits of her siblings, they never answered. It was because they were not dead. While she was stunned by the new revelations of not only her brother being back, but that Adonis revealed Ciri as her siter, Mirrah could not have been happier. If anything, she refuses to let them be torn apart again.
It was not meant to last, however. The war had ended up taking the life of her sister, Ciri, and two of her children as well as Ciri's mate. Even her mate's father, Arcturus, ended up falling to the clutches of evil and perished. Mirrah found herself once again facing the loss of her family. Not to mention, her son Corvus had left the Pride and moved away and her daughter Dahlia was barely speaking to her father Kimba. Mirrah had not wanted to dip into the depths of depression again but now was worse than when she lost her family as a child. Mirrah saw no point in continuing on and spends her days lying next to the Lake of Eternity communing with the spirit world. Her son Damon and daughter Dahlia visit frequently to try and rouse their mother from her stupor but until her family is free of hatred for one another she sees no light at the end of the tunnel. Mirrah clashes with Kimba and more often than not refuses to see him unless he makes up with his children and returns to his normal, kind self she knows still exists.
-----
As the war reached its peak and many went out to sacrifice their lives to protect the Pride, Kimba seemed to take a long look at his life - especially after the death of much of his family. He made an effort to make it up to Mirrah and would with with her by the lake when she allowed, sharing in her own grief. It took time, but the two made amends. And, as the war came to and end and the Pride was on the winning side, the two made a decision that this world had been too cruel to the both of them. With the war over and their children all given a chance at peace, the two made a joint decision it was time for them to walk into the Lake of Eternity - ending their lives. Mirrah wanting nothing more than to have all of her family together, but knowing they were safe and happy with their partners and their lives meant more to her than her own life. Before they passed on into the afterlife, Mirrah and Kimba made a final amends with the remnants of their famliy - Kimba's adotive mother, Artemis. Though sad to see them go before her, she understood their decision and they now await her joining them one day. Their son, Damon, who was always by their side. Mirrah would miss him more than she could bear but took comfort in the fact he would often come to visit and speak to their spirits. And their daughter Dahlia - though the hardest to earn back her trust. Mirrah pleaded with Kimba to make a final amends and he finally relented, granting she and her mate Aldurant his blessing on the one condition he would devote his life to her and not leave her alone in this world. The one they did not get a chance to see was Corvus, who had moved away to the Oasis, and Mirrah never got a chance to meet her grandchildren. Yet, in death, the two seem at peace - something they had not felt in a long time.
